I was a local PC technician who was constantly being asked what there is available for broadband internet in rural Taranaki, and the answer had always been the same, apart from expensive satellite internet and slow wireless for a steep price there is not much else on offer from the major internet service providers, and most people are still stuck on slow dial-up.

So in 2007 I launched PrimoWireless based from Inglewood, Taranaki - from there our customer numbers grew which then led to PrimoWireless being Incorporated in 2008 and the need for a full time role was established, which is when I left my technician role and started working at PrimoWireless full time, since then we have grown further and our coverage area has also grown as we can now provide wireless broadband to most parts of North Taranaki, and we are still constantly improving the PrimoWireless network for more coverage area and faster speeds.

Jared Schicker, Technical Sales Manager.

Jared has been with PrimoWireless from the start helping with most of the initial customer installs, and more importantly helping to build the several transmitter sites we needed in order to connect those customers.

Jared's main focus is now sales and new connections, but with his extensive array of technical knowledge and know-how, this makes him a great asset to the PrimoWireless team as he is able to help with technical support when needed, etc.
